How I organize the Hemnes Dresser

I searched endlessly online for dresser organization inspiration when building out my daughter’s nursery (hello, nesting), but couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for. I ended up purchasing the often-sold-out Hemnes Dresser from Ikea. While I wish I looked harder (or didn’t wait until the last minute) for a non-toxic or recycled piece, the Hemnes has worked well for us.

After many Amazon purchases and returns, this is what I came to, and I believe it’s chef’s kiss.

I keep all onesies, footies, and sleep sacks in the left drawer and shirts, shorts, pants, and rompers in the second drawer. The two clear bins work perfectly for separating hats/bonnets, headbands, socks and slippers/shoes.

Back stock of extra diapers, wipes, and balms

Burp cloths, wash cloths, cloth bibs, and pacifiers

I use the bottom drawers for clothing that is too big (not pictured) and towels, blankets, and wrap carriers.
